Your post made me think that one of my favorite Rockwell Kent images would be a good graphic for this group. I've been reading 'Theodore Rex' (about Teddy Roosevelt) and 'The 48 Laws of Power.' '48' uses mini-biographies to illustrate laws of political power. Some of my favorite biography subjects, where I will read every biography printed about the person are: Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley (what a strange, incredible life in interesting times) and Richard Nixon (not sure why). Thomas Edison, he packed more into one life than anyone I can think of. He had an appetite for reading which would have made him quite a thinker. My favorite read so far is Something Like An Autobiography, the life of Akira Kurosawa. Its incredible how he translated his family history and traditions into his passion for film. The Miles Davis Autobiography, Miles (written with Quincy Troupe) was also excellent. It gave an insight into his (and his contemporaries) genius and the tragic life of jazz musicians.
