      <description>She was lucky to be born into a Quaker family, women had more rights, and they were a bit more liberal than most people, but even so, she did so much!!!</description>

      <description>She was an amazing woman.  She was born on Natucket to a Quacker family, in the 1790s.  She became a very well known advocate for women's rights, as well as an astronomer, and an early abolitionist.&#xD;
She traveled to London to speak about Abolition, and was at the first Women's Rights convention in Seneca Falls, NY.&#xD;
&#xD;
She accomplished so much, especially for the limits placed on women of her time.</description>

I think the only *modern* biography I've read was Diana.&#xD;

      <description>Looks like it's just you and me Suse. I have read a lot of biographies but the ones I have loved the most were of people that I love such as Thomas Jefferson. Although I have to admit I enjoyed reading a biography of Marlon Brando and also one on Doris Day!</description>

I enjoy biographies a lot, my favourite ones tend to be Johnb Adams &amp;amp; Teddy Roosevelt, but I read lots more.</description>
