I enjoy biographies a lot, my favourite ones tend to be Johnb Adams & Teddy Roosevelt, but I read lots more.

Looks like it's just you and me Suse. I have read a lot of biographies but the ones I have loved the most were of people that I love such as Thomas Jefferson. Although I have to admit I enjoyed reading a biography of Marlon Brando and also one on Doris Day!

LOL! Good thing we like talking to each other!!
I have a Jefferson now, and Madison, which I plan to read next week.
I think the only *modern* biography I've read was Diana.

One ofmthe most interesting bios I ever read was about Lucretia Mott. I've been wishing I could find it again!

She was an amazing woman. She was born on Natucket to a Quacker family, in the 1790s. She became a very well known advocate for women's rights, as well as an astronomer, and an early abolitionist.
She traveled to London to speak about Abolition, and was at the first Women's Rights convention in Seneca Falls, NY.

She accomplished so much, especially for the limits placed on women of her time.
